Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop secure, scalable server-side APIs that support digital payment and transaction processing platforms.
• Build and maintain high-performance batch processing systems to manage large-scale automated backend operations.
• Perform software testing and quality assurance activities to ensure system reliability, performance, and data integrity.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to align system architecture with business requirements and technical standards.
• Participate in code reviews, system enhancements, and ongoing platform modernization initiatives.
• Troubleshoot and resolve backend application issues while supporting system stability and performance.
• Contribute to backend architecture decisions and technical design discussions.
• Support operational excellence through continuous improvement and development best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications Experience:

• 5+ years of professional software development experience with a strong focus on Java backend development.
• Proven experience designing and developing server-side APIs and batch processing applications.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies including design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Experience building scalable and high-availability backend systems.
• Knowledge of application architecture, database integration, and enterprise software development practices.
• Experience working within Agile or collaborative software development environments.

• Experience working within financial services, fintech, digital payments, or transaction-processing platforms.
• Knowledge of large-scale distributed systems and high-volume transaction environments.
• Exposure to cloud-native technologies and modern backend architecture concepts.
