Senior Software Engineer, Issuing
Job responsibilities:
- Lead development of new card and account opening lifecycle features (card issuance, tokenization, physical card manufacturing, KYB/KYC, document collection applications)
- Own initiatives from planning to launch, keeping stakeholders informed and aligned along the way
- Ensure high reliability and availability for company’s API
- Orchestrate cross functional teamwork to design standards across all engineering teams
- Provide expertise to bring industry best practices to our APIs
- Lead efforts to improve systems and processes within the team
- Participate in the team on-call rotation
Qualifications:
- Experience shipping in production environment and leading projects
- Strong distributed system instincts and design skills
- Experience in or desire to learn Rust
- Ability to lead cross-functional projects and step in as a strong individual contributor
- Growth mindset and continuous desire to learn and improve
- An interest in fintech and the payments space is preferred
Base salary range for US candidates: $160,000 – $190,000
