Key Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison between HR and departments such as Legal, Finance, and Office Management to translate business needs into HR solutions
• Manage the full employee lifecycle from recruitment to offboarding
• Ensure accuracy in payroll processing and compliance with local labor regulations
• Coordinate office operations and manage vendor relationships
• Collaborate with senior HR leaders on strategic people initiatives
• Support process improvement, engagement programs, and performance enablement
• Provide backup support to senior HRBPs to maintain operational continuity

Required Skills and Qualifications

Experience:

• 1-3 years in an HRBP, HR generalist, or similar role with exposure to cross-functional departments
• Experience in handling end-to-end HR operations, compliance, and office management

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in HRIS platforms and payroll systems

Soft Skills:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to manage projects and support after-hours business needs when required

Language Requirements

• Japanese: Native
• English: Intermediate to Business level
• Additional Asian languages a plus
