A fast-scaling global Web3 and blockchain startup is seeking a visionary Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead its Japan and ASEAN expansion. This executive leadership role will take full ownership of the Japan P&L while building go-to-market strategies, optimizing operations, and identifying scalable revenue streams across fintech, banking, sports, and entertainment. Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage full business P&L for Web3/blockchain operations
• Build scalable operations to support rapid growth and cross-border scale
• Prioritize and monetize revenue opportunities across fintech, banks, and NFT verticals
• Design and execute business roadmaps from ground zero to delivery
• Monitor competitive landscape and inform internal stakeholders of key changes
• Lead and build a cross-functional team in Japan
• Support ASEAN regional expansion and overseas coordination
• Deliver high-level communications and confident executive presentations

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in strategy consulting or a leadership role with full P&L ownership
• Proven success in market expansion, business execution, and operational scaling
• Strong knowledge of the Japanese market and ability to drive local execution
• Experience in fintech, digital assets, or blockchain environments preferred
• Japanese: Native; English: Intermediate to Business-level
