Join a rapidly growing global fintech leader as a Senior Associate in Financial Control supporting APAC operations. In this role, you will lead financial reporting across multiple legal entities, manage audits, and prepare IFRS and Japanese GAAP statements. You will also drive finance transformation projects, strengthen internal controls, and contribute to strategic financial initiatives while collaborating with high-performing international teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage monthly and annual financial reporting for APAC legal entities
• Act as primary contact for external auditors during audits
• Prepare accurate IFRS and Japanese GAAP financial statements
• Drive finance transformation initiatives and process improvements
• Ensure compliance with local GAAP and group accounting standards
• Develop and strengthen internal financial controls and procedures
• Support ad-hoc analysis and special finance projects across APAC

Required Skills and Qualifications

Experience:

• 3-7 years in financial control, audit, or accounting
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and Japanese GAAP

Technical Skills:

• CPA qualification or equivalent (ACCA, ACA, CIMA)
• Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills

Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication skills in English (Japanese a plus)
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Hands-on, proactive, and detail-oriented mindset

• Japanese: Intermediate / Business level (preferred)
