Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve revenue targets in the Japanese BFSI market
- Conduct market research to uncover trends, customer needs, and business opportunities
- Build and manage long-term relationships with key stakeholders in financial institutions
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing local sales team
- Oversee the complete sales cycle, from lead generation to deal closure
- Collaborate with product teams to align solutions with market demands
- Ensure compliance with local regulatory standards in all sales activities
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of sales experience in Japan’s BFSI sector, particularly in lending solutions
- Proven record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving business growth
- Strong network within the Japanese banking and financial services industry
Technical & Functional Skills:
- Deep understanding of fintech, especially lending and banking software
- Proficiency in data analytics and CRM tools for sales strategy
- Experience with digital transformation, cloud technologies, and AI/ML
Soft Skills:
- Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Analytical mindset to identify trends and customer needs
- High integrity and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Language Requirements
- Japanese: Native level
- English: Intermediate to Business level
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience leading digital transformation initiatives in financial institutions
- Knowledge of Japan’s financial regulatory compliance landscape
- Familiarity with RPA, AI/ML, and cloud platforms in fintech environments
