Specialist sales role for trading company/sogo shosha and corporate clients – data/risk/analytics products.
Roles/Responsibilities
- Drive sales revenue through upsell/cross sales/renewals, with corporates and trading companies being your main client base.
- Act as the market and product/service specialist during the sales cycle, providing insights, product expertise, and process management skills.
- Link client needs and challenges to engage subject matter experts, sales specialists, and internal resources.
- Play a role in the development of future product extensions, improvements, and marketing strategies.
- Conduct product demonstrations, answer technical questions, and describe service engagement approaches.
- Coordinate responses to product and service inquiries, including proposals and requests for information.
Required skills
- 8+ years of B2B sales experience.
- Highly desirable to have experience in complex solution sales, particularly targeting big corporate companies. Familiarity with large-sized Japanese Trading companies (Sogo Shosha) is a strong plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related business subject area is preferred.
- Experience in the field of company information/data SaaS solutions, with a deep understanding of their applications across organizations.
- Proficient in presenting high-level information and detailed demonstrations of responsible products and services.
