    【Job Summary】

    ・Aiming to strengthen organizational response to patent disputes, improve the quality of patent practices in the fintech field, and improve the efficiency and systematization of patent management operations. We are working on new measures.

    This open position will cover areas other than fintech.

    I would like to work with someone who can handle ongoing patent disputes.

    ■ You will be involved in the following tasks in patent disputed cases.

    – Coordination with technical (e.g., determination of infringement, standard necessity, invalidity, etc.) and internal business/development departments regarding the subject patents, products, and services

    – Formulation of negotiation strategies based on the results of technical examinations, negotiations with counterparties for dispute resolution, and preparation of contracts

    ・Planning and execution of a strategy for dealing with patent disputes across the entire Group [Scope of change in business content]

    【Required Human Resources】

    【Required】

    – Experience in patent disputes, liaison, contracts, licensing, and litigation in the company’s intellectual property department, and experience in communicating in English in patent disputes

    – Knowledge of software/control, motivation to obtain a score of TOEIC800 or more or equivalent within 2 years

     

    [Preferred]

    – Experience in handling disputes and litigation cases, especially in the U.S. and Europe, and experience
    in handling disputes and litigation cases related to standard essential patents
    – Technical experience and knowledge related to video codecs and wireless communications, and experience in handling disputes in cooperation with group companies of the company to which you belong

    【Salary】

    Annual income: 6 million ~ 9 million Monthly

    salary system: 500,000 yen
    per month
    Salary: ■ Preferential bonus according to company regulations, taking into account experience, skills, and age: Twice a year (June and December)

    * Paid according to company and individual performance

    Salary increase: Twice a year (June and December)
