KeyResponsibilities:

• Feature Development: Design, develop, and enhance core system features within legacy and modern platforms
• Collaboration: Work closely with architects and team members on system design, data models, and architecture
• Bug Fixing: Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and bugs in a timely manner
• Sprint Participation: Contribute to sprint planning and estimation
• Code Quality: Maintain high test coverage and write unit tests
• Documentation: Create and maintain project documentation
• Issue Resolution: Respond to production and QA issues within agreed SLAs

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in PHP development

• Experience with PHP 8.1 or higher

• Prior experience in fintech, lending, or payday loan systems
• Familiarity with PHP frameworks (e.g., Symfony or Zend)
• Strong understanding of OOP, software design patterns, and best practices
• Experience with GIT, unit testing (PHPUnit), Docker, and CI/CD concepts
• Experience working with issue tracking tools like Jira
• Proficiency in English (written and verbal)

Nice to Have:

• SQL knowledge, particularly PostgreSQL

• Experience with query optimization

• Familiarity with Agile environments
