Job Description
Exciting Java Web Application Engineer opportunity in Tokyo. Focus on migrating and validating payment services systems with a tech-savvy team.
Roles/Responsibilities
- Develop test cases to validate functionality following system migration.
- Execute tests using existing source code, identifying issues through log and database analysis.
- Document and report detailed verification results.
- Modify code based on test results, with reviews conducted by the tech lead.
- Update design documents and other materials as the project progresses.
- Perform debugging, verification, and code adjustments as needed.
Required skills
- Over 5 years of experience with Java (Spring Framework), Tomcat/Apache, and MySQL.
- Proficiency in Linux/Shell commands and version control with Git.
- Native-level Japanese reading and writing skills (JLPT N1).
Preferred skills
- Strong experience in creating and executing test cases for web applications.
- Capability to analyze logs and database records to troubleshoot issues.
- Ability to document and report findings clearly, with experience updating technical documentation.
