■Main tasks include
・Lead and mentor a team of designers.
・Develop and execute strategic design plans.
・Oversee design projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
・Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, engineering).
・Ensure brand consistency across all design outputs.
・Drive best practices in design, experience quality, and testing.
・Manage design debt while balancing new feature development.
・Promote a user-focused approach.
■Requirements
・Bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Science, or related field.
・5+ years of experience in design, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
・Proven experience managing design teams in a B2C product environment.
・Strong understanding of agile methodologies.
・Experience working cross-functionally with product and engineering teams.
・Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
・Passion for user-centric product design.
・Fluency in English and Business level Japanese.
・Experience with product discovery practices.
・Proven ability to deliver high-quality design solutions within budget and timeline constraints.
