Country Manager Japan – Lead Fintech Growth & Market Strategy

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead revenue growth and full P&L ownership for the Japan business
    • Build and manage cross-functional teams including Sales, BD, Customer Success, Presales, and Post-Sales
    • Develop and operationalize go-to-market strategy tailored to the Japanese fintech ecosystem
    • Ensure product-market fit by aligning customer feedback with product and GTM roadmap
    • Represent Japan leadership across internal stakeholders and executive teams globally
    • Drive alignment across sales, marketing, product, and partnerships functions to achieve growth targets

    Required Skills and Qualifications

    • Experience: 15+ years total, with 10+ years in growth strategy or revenue leadership roles (Sales, Marketing, Partnerships, etc.)
    • Leadership: Proven ability to build and manage high-performing teams (10+ people)
    • Strategic Planning: Deep understanding of GTM execution and scaling strategies
    • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical mindset and ability to resolve cross-functional challenges
    • Execution: Ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels
    • Product: Track record of influencing product roadmap to meet Japan market needs

    Language Requirements

    • Japanese: Native level
    • English: Business-level or above

    Preferred Skills & Qualifications

    • Experience launching or scaling fintech operations in Japan
    • Strong professional network and cultural fluency within the Japanese business landscape
