My client, an American financial institution, is looking for its compliance specialist.

About the job

• Monitor compliance-related alerts and take necessary actions
• Verify merchant information and conduct due diligence for onboarding
• Ensure daily operational deliverables meet SLAs
• Interact with customers to maintain compliance
• Provide training and guidance on account reviews
• Collaborate with internal teams to enhance compliance processes

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in compliance or compliance operations within a financial services firm
• A strong operational mindset with the ability to manage time-sensitive tasks and balance multiple priorities independently
• Proficiency in investigative research, including the use of public records and database tools
• Strong analytical skills for evaluating transactions across various financial products and complex scenarios
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while consistently delivering high-quality results.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Japanese and English.
