B2B Business Development Manager (Fintech or Blockchain Experience)

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Develop strategic business development planning for business expansions and OKR settings

    to achieve the given KPI.

    • Conduct regular client update meetings, account planning, executive reviews, QBRs, and

    leadership updates with expected operating discipline.

    • Work with clients to brainstorm ideas and understand business requirements; Collaborate

    with the project team to design solutions and project plans to meet client needs; and configure solutions according to the functionality of the client’s source systems.

    • On-board the Clients: You will be tasked with assessing opportunities, developing account

    plans, contract negotiations, technical integration and post sales account management.

    • Customer Relationship Management: Manage overall clients relationship and identify new

    business opportunities with the aim of driving incremental payment volume and revenue.

    • Know the Tech: Quickly get up to speed on CipherBC’s technical capabilities, the unique

    features and customer benefits our platform offers and how to speak with confidence, knowledge and credibility about what we bring to our customers.

    • Work with internal teams and external partners (where necessary) to scope new use cases

    and solutions as per market’s demand; Be proactive in understanding market trends and company’s products and services and is able to customize solutions to clients’ requirements.

    Skills And Experience Required.

    • 3-5 years experience in partnerships and/or business development roles.
    • 2+ years experience at a fin-tech, banking, or banking service provider, and experience in

    the Custody or Payment industry.

    • A proven track record as a highly successful, professional salesperson having learned to sell

    through a combination of professional training and actual B2B sales experience.

    • Familiarity and ease with technology, B2B technology applications and platforms.
    • Understand how to optimize the sales cycle from lead to opportunity to live account.
    • Ability to prioritize, manage, and deliver on multiple projects simultaneously; highly

    motivated and able to work against aggressive schedules.

    • Able and comfortable to present to Senior stakeholders and handling large enterprise

    accounts.

    • Ability to operate effectively and efficiently in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
    • Recognized degree preferably in Business Management.
    • Proficient in MS Office (Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook and MS Teams).
    • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written in English and Mandarin would be

    required as this role needs to liaise frequently with native Mandarin counterparts.

    • Besides English and Mandarin, an APAC third language is highly preferred.
    • Public speaking experience is highly preferred.

    • Positive attitude, team player, adaptable, resourceful, and self-starter who is able to work

    independently.
